British Handmade Wooden Grab Rail - Indoor

Whether fitted beside the front door, at the top of the stairs, or next to the toilet, these handmade British grab rails provide the subtle support you need without turning your home into a clinic. They are solid, comfortable to hold, and beautiful enough to match your furniture.
To make a truly strong wooden rail, you cannot just cut a curve out of a block of wood - this would create weak points. Instead, these rails are steam-bent which is a method traditional boat builders have used for generations. By steaming the wood, we can bend it so the grain structure remains continuous from end to end. This stops the wood’s natural spring and creates a handle that is exceptionally strong.
Why put up with an ugly, white plastic handle when you can have a beautiful, handcrafted one? Every piece is unique, made by hand in a workshop on the UK’s South Coast.
The handles are fitted with two screws at either end. You have two style options:

Hidden Fixings: For a clean look where the screws are hidden by matching wooden plugs (included).

Visible Fixings: For a classic look where the brass screw heads are left visible.
What is included?

For Hidden/Plugged option: Zinc-coated high-performance screws (5mm x 60mm), matching wooden plugs to hide the heads, and a small pot of finish for touch-ups.

For Visible option: Shiny brass slotted-head screws (5mm x 60mm).
