This is the shower seat you'd actually want someone to see in your bathroom. Solid oak slats on a stainless steel frame - no plastic, no clinical white, none of that hospital look.

The slats aren't just for style. Water runs straight through instead of sitting on the seat, so it dries out properly and doesn't go green or soft over time like a lot of cheaper wood seats do.

It's got a backrest built in, so you can actually lean back and shower properly rather than just balancing on the edge. When you're finished, fold it flat against the wall and it's out of the way - handy in a small bathroom or wet room where floor space matters.

Holds up to 250kg. Comes with a fitting template and clear instructions for a straightforward installation.

Brilliant addition to shower

Really impressed with how sturdy this feels bolted to our brick wall. Timber finish looks very expensive and matches our oak vanity unit.

Worth every penny

Superb craftsmanship. Does not squeak or bend when you sit on it. Makes showering enjoyable and relaxing again.

Good quality, quite heavy to lift

Lovely piece of wood. The friction hinge is quite stiff when folding it back up against the wall, takes a bit of effort if your hands are soapy, but I suppose that's better than it dropping down freely.

Comfortable and safe

Gives complete peace of mind in the shower. Seat is wide enough to sit comfortably without feeling like you're perching on the edge. Highly recommend.

High quality oak

Solid timber, beautifully finished rounded edges. Hinge mechanism is stiff enough that it won't drop down on its own. Fitting instructions were a little basic but our tiler had no trouble.

Luxury wet room addition

Bought for my wife who needs to sit down while washing her hair due to balance problems. She is thrilled with it. It looks like an architectural feature rather than a disability seat.

Great seat, wipe dry after use

The wood is beautiful and water beads off nicely. I give it a quick wipe with the shower squeegee after each use just to prevent water pooling between the slats, but it's held up with zero signs of mould or discoloration. Worth the money.

Very sturdy, heavy installation

Make sure you have solid wall structure behind your tiles before putting this up because the bracket and solid timber are seriously heavy! We had our bathroom installer fit timber nogging behind the plasterboard to bolt into. Rock solid now, very secure.

Feels like being at a Scandinavian spa

Transformed our walk in shower! The solid oak slats look fantastic against slate tiles. Folds flat so doesn't get in the way when you just want a quick standing shower. Much more comfortable and warmer to sit on than those cold plastic hospital stools.

Lovely bit of kit

Bought this for my mum who has been struggling in the shower. Fits perfectly and folds flat against the wall. Really sturdy and the oak looks beautiful in her bathroom.

How well does the wood last when getting wet everyday in the shower?

Luxworth

Oak is naturally resistant to water and decay, and the slatted design allows for the water to drain off of the seat easily to prevent surface pooling. The wood is also finished with 3 coats of oil, meaning it will last for many years of daily use without compromising its structural stability.
