British Handmade Wooden Grab Rail - Indoor

To make a truly strong wooden rail, you cannot just cut a curve out of a block of wood - this would create weak points. Instead, these rails are steam-bent, a method traditional boat builders have used for generations. By steaming the wood, we can bend it so the grain structure remains continuous from end to end. This stops the wood's natural spring and creates a handle that is exceptionally strong.
Every piece is unique, made by hand in a workshop on the UK's South Coast.
Sizes: Available in 300mm, 400mm, 500mm, and 600mm lengths.
Wood options: Oak, Ash, Walnut, 2-tone (Walnut/Ash), 3-tone (Walnut/Oak/Ash), London Plane, or White painted.
Screw fitting: Choose between exposed brass screws for a traditional look, or wood plug covers for a cleaner finish. Two fixings at each end.
